Wolves, in general, are not threatened. There is no need to do anything.
Scientists can probably save gray wolves by putting them in their habitat and letting them stay there.
I am a wolf lover myself and I tried to save wolves in any way I possibly could I went on websites that are for trying to help save the wolves and there is this site that says adopt to save a wolf and I have complained about the fairy tales that have big bad wolves in them and tried to explain how wolves are actually very beautiful animals.
You stop killing them
Get PETA, random animal lovers, and liberals to help. You could start petitions that say "Save the Red Wolves".
to save timber wolves you can recycle, help save the woods, when your older you could get a job as a conservation officer or a ranger which protect all animals and that could protect them

Wolves, although intelligent by dog standards, do not intentionally try to save people and would not have the right things to help a person in desperate need, they are wild and only interested in their survival.There has been a known occasion, this has been thought because of such films and books as the Jungle Book
To help save timber wolves you can participate in Timber Wolf Awareness Week in October, find out if there is an organization in your community that lets you adopt a wolf pack (believe it or not there are some that do), organize a fund raiser with your friends and donate some or all of the money to a charity, teach people about the need for protecting the wolves and their habitats, or buy things from organisations that help protect timber wolves.
