These are examples of English phrasal verbs. There is no real 'logic' to the words added to the main verb. Phrasal verbs are expressions that have come into customary usage over time.
Sometimes the meaning of the full phrasal verb is very different from the main verb itself. e.g. Turn.
* You can turn down or turn up the radio, you can even turn over a new leaf,
* So what happened when the bus turned up?
To clean mold off a moon bounce, you would need vinegar, nylon scrub brush and cleaning rags. The rags can be soaked in the vinegar and then scrub down the moon bounce. If the mold doesn't come clean right away, the nylon scrub brush can be used for extra cleaning power.

It shouldn't make a difference because it lights up; depending on the material, you could scrub it under rubbing water (like crocs, for example), or you can wipe it down with a wet cloth (like with tennis shoes).
