Nose Fatigue. After a time, the brain starts ignoring the nerve impulses sent by the nose for the perfume. It is not survival positive to ignore new scents; after all, the animal giving off the scent could be hunting you!
Your nose becomes desensitized but if you smell coffee beans your sense of smell for the fragrances returns immediately
