your puppy might need to spend more time outside to feel comfortable out there. or she might have gotten used to going inside and thinks it is where she is supposed to go. either way, you can correct this by being consistent in telling her no whenever you catch her in the act of going in the house. as soon as you've told her no in a firm loud voice( a loud clap can be very effective at startling them as well) immediately take them outside and praise them, asking them to go potty, and praising them even more when they do so. dogs don't learn when they are spanked for this or have their faces rubbed in their urine so avoid doing this. as long as your dog knows that you are going to be very consistent in his or her training, she will( eventually) very willingly choose the outside over the inside to go to the bathroom. dogs like to feel they are doing the right thing, so always try to let him or her know when she deserves praise.
i would take your dog on a walk and pack lots of treats every time she/he pees/poos outside give her a treat every time she pees inside hold the treat in front of his mouth and say no in a sort of firm but kind of nice voice do not scold and take it away before she eats it.
Well my answer would be either he's drinking too much water, or she has a sickness. I would take him to the vet if i were you!
You can take a puppy outside at any age just to go potty, but a puppy should have all of it's shots before it meets other dogs or spend long periods of time outside.
Yes, you definitely can. You should start training your puppy to potty train as soon as you can. Take the dog out a lot and praise them and give them treats whenever they go to the bathroom outside. If you catch the dog peeing inside say no sternly and take them outside. Leave them out there for a while so they get that they are supposed to go to the bathroom when they are outside. Praise them when they do go to the bathroom outside.
NEVER beat a puppy!!! NEVER. Young puppies should be handled gently and will learn MUCH more by reward than by hurting them. If you hurt them they learn that YOU ARE MEAN. That is ANIMAL ABUSE. Puppies need to urinate more frequently than more mature dogs. Take her outside at least every couple of hours and reward her every time she pees outside, by praising her and maybe giving her a small treat. She will begin to understand that peeing outside is a good thing. When you catch her in the act of peeing inside, say NO firmly (do not yell!) and take her outside immediately. NEVER hit a puppy. Another thing is that young puppies, just like human babies, are learning how to control their bodies so they may urinate when excited. They can grow out of this but you need to be patient just as you would with a child.
when he pees on the carpet/indoors, ignore it. do not tell him off or yell at him, just ignore it and take him out to the garden. keep him thereuntil you have cleaned it up. learn the signs for when he is about to go a wee, then take him outside. every time he pees outside give him a treat. he will get the message that:wee outside treatwee inside no treat and go outside.the eventual product will be that he will start asking to go out.
When you take your puppy outside to poo, you must stay with them until they do. After they do praise them and immediatly bring them back into the house. This will give them the idea that they are to do it outside.
You should take your puppy out at least every hour, if it's a male puppy they need to go more often that a female puppy or so seems anyway.
when it pees or poos, you have to get its nose and stick it into their pee or poo, then you take it to its pad and put its nose on the pad so it knows that its supposed to pee or poo on the pad.
It depends on the sentence. For example: Then training your new puppy, there are times when you will need to remember to take the puppy outside, such as just after a meal.
Yes, you can train an 8-month-old puppy to go outside for potty breaks instead of on newspaper. Start by taking the puppy outside frequently, especially after meals and naps, and reward them when they go potty outdoors. Consistent positive reinforcement, patience, and a regular schedule will help the puppy learn to go outside.
Just make sure you feed and water the puppy everyday, and make sure you watch it all the time. And take it outside every hour or so, sometimes more
