We probably do not look like God, I think the 'likeness' referred to is an aesthetic quality. When you look at a landscape and appreciate its beauty, I think God does that too, while I am not sure a dog would appreciate the beauty of the view.
We are alike in that we can both create and admire that which has been created.
Genesis 1:27 states, "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them." This verse highlights that humans are created in the image and likeness of God.
Yes, here is a reference for it. "God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." - Genesis 1:27
In his own likeness.
God said "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness." "…God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them" (Genesis Ch 1)
there is no finite answer to the question...cause all are smart..in fact god created us in his own image and likeness..
God specially created the human race; one male and one female "in THEIR image, after THEIR likeness" [see Gen.1:26] In other words; God created "sex." And as God created it, those two people and each and every child born since, have been and are unique [each one developing their own unique character and personality traits according to their life's experiences and environment -- no two are quite the same or alike]. And they have all been and are... and always shall be... created in the image and likeness of their fathers.
It means being similar, example the bible says god created Adam , man in his own image.
Though all things were created or organised by God, man is His altimate creation because we are in His likeness. We are his children therefore have a God as our father. Animals differ as they where organised to Gods own design and pleasure.

That we are very much like him, only we are very sinful.
