Tradition has it that this is the point of contact with the Divine. The fact that you saw what you refer to as a halo indicates that your daughter had a strong connection with that divine energy. Incidentally, this is thought to be where early Christian artists got the idea for the haloes they painted around the heads of saints, martyrs, and other religious figures, indicating that they had a strong, almost tangible connection with their God.
