Pheasants do not live in trees, but instead nest in the low underbrush. I have seen these birds in Southern Alberta Canada and are often seen flying up from the undergrowth. This bird is like a partridge, I think probably from the same family.
Yes pheasants do hunt but we wouldn't think of it as hunting. They normally like to hunt bugs. see told you you wouldn't think it was hunting but it is a living thing and they do eat it so there for they have to hunt it.

Pheasants will live just fine in Kentucky . The thing is they can't reproduce here. This is the real question and no one seems to have the answers. Of course I don't think anyone is really trying
It should be displayed in a clean environment, with all of its components and possibly functioning while being displayed.
Pheasants were kept by noblemen in medieval times for food. they generally just flew around as they do today. Often, the poorer peasants poached the pheasants to make a pleasant pheasant meal.

I would be worried about the remaining pets and also the children, pheasants when killed emit a high pitched squeal not unlike an over excited child
