Why do snakes harm people?

It is because they don't don't know alot about them. They might think they are slimy, or they might bite them even if they're not venomus. Alot of people fear snakes for this reason.

they have so much venow they can kill u in one bite. they can be very fatal and painful even if they have no venom... they can also reach any heights and squeeze through anything... even some snakes can eat small babys whole. they can also rap themselves around ur neck and strangle you plus.... they dont have bones so u cant break their bones O.O if u see one DONT MOVE

Snakes generally don't harm people out of nowhere.Usually when snakes attack people it is out of self-defense and they feel endangered or threatened.Snakes usually hunt other animals and depending on their size you are not on there menu or agenda.Some larger snake may however eat you.....not kidding if they are hungry enough and large enough a snake might be desprate enough to eat you.But mos that size eat boar,deer,and other fair sized mammals

The only way to answer that question is to ask a snake. However, judging from the development of rattles on some snake tails, it probably would be the fear of getting stepped on by hooves of four-legged animals.

I can tell you humans, they only seem fearless because they need to to survive when cornered.
