There are many different types of sedimentary rocks. The three main types are chemical, biochemical and clastic rock. Some that fall into these three categories include sandstone, shale, limestone, gypsum, chert, coal, and amber.
They are both rocks. Sedimentary can contain metamorphic rocks. and vice versa.
despite what most people think, metamorphic rocks are not formed only by igneous rocks. an example is slate, which forms from shale, a sedimentary rock
I think it is, "The settled rock", but I'm not sure. Well I am, kinda. Whatever. Delfano
Organic only applies to plant based things.
A sedimentary rock is made from the products of the erosion of other rocks. These could be igneous, sedimentary or metamorphic rocks. If you wish to know the original rock from which sedimentary and metamorphic rocks came from, you have to go back to when the Earth formed. In this case, the answer would be an igneous rock.
I don't think industry have anything to do with sedimentary rocks because industry is used for goods.

This is a very simplistic answer. But, it should reveal the basic processes involved in rock formation.1. Sedimentary, like coal and limestone. They are made from particles of substances that settle and coalesce into a layer that becomes rock.2. Igneous, like granite and basalt. These rocks were formed by heat. Think of lava.3. Metamorphic: Marble and slate. These are rocks that were in another form and got changed by pressure into their present form.

dolomite is a MINERAL. it is NOT considered a sedimentary rock of any kind. sedimentary rocks are composed of minerals, fragments or particles of other rocks(sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous) and/or organic material, and may or may not contain dolomite. to help you understand: if you think of dolomite as a pure element, then sedimentary rocks are mixtures of different elements
I think it is one year :P
Cz yer stoopid

I think they're found in the fossils of dead animals or plants.

I think short iron is made by sedimentary rocks. I may be wrong though
