What is the difference between design architecture and architecture?

Architecture faces towards strategy, structure and purpose, towards the abstract.Design faces towards implementation and practice, towards the concrete.Architecture is a plan for the structure of something. Design is a plan to create something. An easy way to think about the difference between architecture and design is to consider the architecture of an office building as compared with its interior design. Answer by M4Adesigns

What is fictive architecture?

I know of three meanings of the term 'fictive architecture'. The first is invented architecture described in a novel. The second is speculative or imaginary architecture on paper or in cyberspace. The third use is the one which interests me: it is architecture which is built and exists, and which embodies fictional ideas. To understand this, think of the difference between a novel and non-fiction book. In a novel, there is no bound to the imaginative leaps that can occur, whereas within a non-fiction book meticulous care must be taken to adhere to the facts and present them elegantly. Most architecture is like the latter, fictive architecture as I am proposing is like the former. Please visit my blog www.architecturalfictionassociation.wordpress.com where I give examples. What do houses in Spain look like?

In rural Spain, Spanish architecture can be classified as "Mediterranean architecture". This is especially true for coastal areas, where Mediterranean influences are more pervasive. I think that many houses are made of white clays and stone (but I'm not sure). I do know that Spanish houses have large open spaces to ventilate the heat. You should be able to find Greek, Roman, and maybe even Moorish influences in Spanish homes, Search "spanish villa" on Google. Or "spanish casa"
