Why do you use aliminium for foil?

There are several answers to this. The biggest reason is that it is cheap. Its relatively easy to recycle and to obtain as a raw material. Aluminum is very easy to make into foil because of how soft it is. It is more durable then other materials that could be used. It oxidizes (rusts) clear.
