I would love to become a Delta Sigma Theta for the same reason I suppose every soror wants to become a part of a organization as Delta Sigma Theta. On a more serious note the reason I would pledge is for the sisterhood, watching the Diva's of Delta Sigma Theta just gives chill's down my spine. Delta Sigma Theta is a powerful sorority!!!!!!

Yes you can be both... Zeta's might look at you crazy because you want to become a Sigma Dove but you just have to be strong and keep going. Delta's might say something like well be a Zeta but you just ignore it and show them that you want to be a Delta
I want to know because I recently heard her say something that was consistent with DST philosophy.
Study to raise your GPA. Your primary concern should be to graduate with good grades rather than join an organization. The sorority wants those who achieve great things rather than skating by. If it's meant to be it will be
This sounds like you want the Greek alphabet - origin of ours is in Ancient Greece. If you want the Greek alphabet, it is as follows: alpha beta gamma delta epsilon zeta eta theta iota kappa lambda mu nu xi omicron pi rho sigma tau upsilon phi chi psi omega
Sigma Chi is a fraternity. Rush is the process through which they recruit new members. Guys can "rush" Sigma Chi, meaning they want to join the fraternity.
If you really want to know, ask a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.
If by theta you mean the angle at the base of slope on which is the body laying, and you want to calculate minimal theta for which the blocks starts to slide: Let's first calculate: weight: Q = mg force normal to the slope: N = Q cos theta = mg cos theta force tangent to the slope: F = Q sin theta = mg sin theta force of friction: T = fN = fmg cos theta, where f is coefficient of friction The body will start to move downwards, when T = F, or: fmg cos theta = mg sin theta which after simplyfying becomes: f cos theta = sin theta, f = sin theta / cos theta f = tan theta Therefore, theta = arc tan f As you see, the angle only depends on friction coefficient f. (If that's not a problem you asked to be solved, edit your question please to precisely state what needs to be calculated)
I wanted to add additional information. I graduated from a prestigious university approximately 6 years ago. In undergrad, I met the GPA requirement (when it was a 2.5) and other pre-requisites to be considered for membership in such an illustrious organization. However, I knew that I could not give 100% to the undergraduate chapter due to work, community service and school (although I did attend every single program sponsored by the Deltas on my campus and contributed financially and talent-wise to their events); thus abstained from seeking membership at that time. After undergrad, I relocated to another location where the local alumnae chapter had a line within 2 months of my relocation. Seeing as though I had not resided nor had the ability to do community service in that for a lengthy period of time; I attended Rush to learn more about the requirements of an alumnae chapter however, I did not submit my application for membership. Since then, I have received a law degree (working two jobs to put myself through school) and I'm licensed to practice in two states and in the Caribbean. While I have certainly accomplished a great deal professionally speaking, my GPA in law school and undergraduate would not meet the requirements for membership in Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. I do recall that in the past one would have to wait ten years to pursue membership if you did not meet the requirements. I wanted to know if this is still true or if the policy has been modified/abandoned as a result of the new membership requirement. I've wanted to become a member of Delta Sigma Theta for as long as I could remember and would be honored to join the ranks of such distinguished members; however, I don't want to chase "ghosts"-meaning I don't want to continue to desire to join if there is no way I can do this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
