∙ 15y agoThe immigrants come to Canada and become citizens because Canada is a very safe place and lots of security another reason why immigrants come to Canada is that they want to get a good job or come here to stay with someone that is close to them. Also the immigrants come because they want to solve some problems like financial problems and to get married and live their life so this might be a reason.

∙ 9y agoPeople become Canadian citizens for the same reasons they might become citizens of any country... they probably want to live there, work there, marry someone there, or they like the ideals of that country better than the one they come from.

∙ 10y agoCanada is ranked in the top 20 countries when it comes to standard of living and jobs, though not always well paying, can be found. It is also safer than many other countries though that is very area dependent. Some areas are very dangerous but easily avoided.
But the #1 reason I would like to work and live in Canada is the room. At 3.5 people per sq/km Canada is not only one of the few sustainable countries, naturally sinking more carbon than they emit, and with many pollution controls, they also allow people to travel the vast land that is Canada. No need to feel crowded into a major urban centre when living in Canada.
