A person would become a Canadian citizen if they feel they would like to become a permanent part of the country. This includes voting in elections, living, working, and spending their life there.
The immigrants come to Canada and become citizens because Canada is a very safe place and lots of security another reason why immigrants come to Canada is that they want to get a good job or come here to stay with someone that is close to them. Also the immigrants come because they want to solve some problems like financial problems and to get married and live their life so this might be a reason.
People become Canadian citizens for the same reasons they might become citizens of any country... they probably want to live there, work there, marry someone there, or they like the ideals of that country better than the one they come from.
Canada is ranked in the top 20 countries when it comes to standard of living and jobs, though not always well paying, can be found. It is also safer than many other countries though that is very area dependent. Some areas are very dangerous but easily avoided.
But the #1 reason I would like to work and live in Canada is the room. At 3.5 people per sq/km Canada is not only one of the few sustainable countries, naturally sinking more carbon than they emit, and with many pollution controls, they also allow people to travel the vast land that is Canada. No need to feel crowded into a major urban centre when living in Canada.
If I were to come to Canada it would be for specific reasons. Ones such as the University of Toronto, or going to Quebecto learn, and further study the French language.
Masters in any field. Age limit should be 40. citizen of India.
Any questions you have you should refer them to the Canada CIC. It is not impossible for the Canadian to sponsor you if he/she filed for bankruptcy but it does make it more difficult. Mainly they have to be able to AFFORD to take care of you once youre in Canada. But refer to the CIC. Google it. Canada CIC for all info. Good luck
It makes no difference how long a US citizen of ANY age is out of the country. "Once a US Citizen, always a US Citizen." -UNLESS- you renounce your US citizenship and become a citizen of another country. However, since the question is about a 'minor' child that eventuality should not arise.

You have the right to enter Canada if you are a Canadian citizen. The passport should prove your identification, and the citizenship card should prove your citizenship - my guess is a strong yes.
You should be OK, if you have a valid passport.
Unless you're a dual citizen you don't have a choice - you need to be a citizen of the country to serve in its military. The above is actually only true in regards to the Canadian Forces - they require you to be a Canadian citizen. You can join the US military as a foreign citizen, provided you've established permanent residence in the US, and have declared an intent to become a US citizen.
It shouldn't.

The US Citizenship test is primarily to test the applicant's knowledge regarding the Country's ancient history, constitution and its Government. Since English is the common language in the US, this also tests the fluency of the applicants to speak, read and write basic English. Immigrants who want to become US citizens should be well aware of the country's history and should not have any difficulty in speaking the native language. In this aspect, the citizenship test is compulsory.
