Why do guys wear shorts under their pants?

most young boys wear briefs for multiple reasons:

• their father wore or wears them
• they believe its comfortable
• because they are used to it and always have
• there is also no real reason for boxers or loose underwear for young boys, being their penis/balls size are not very large, and because their balls have not dropped with puberty yet
• but I think after puberty has started a boy should always switch to boxers for the overall healthy growth of his body

Why do we sag our pants and wear shorts under? Our reason is security. This helps combat random hard-on effects. Also, If someone pulled a prank, you had another layer on top of your underwear.

Many moons ago, the male did not wear any underclothes, because the male does not need to concern himself with any unexpected bodily discharges. The female wears undergarments to prevent the appearance of stains as the female body can have a discharge on occasion.

As time went by and fashion became a big business, there were companies who marketed undergarments for men. Soon females began to think that a man without undergarments was dirty and so the males began to unnecessarily wear these garments.

In another 50 years or so you will observe potentially that males will begin to wear a brassiere - because the female expectation is that the male will need a brassiere to prevent his nipples being visible.

Men should not heed these expectations. Men should wear whatever they want. Undergarments are unnecessary for males. Unnecessary clothing has to be washed and this adds more pollution to the environment. Minimize - the way to save the environment.

Any man wearing shorts underneath their pants must be doofuses.Either wear shorts or pants on the outside,not both.Unless for some reason you have 2 activities u need a quick change to and too lazy to go to the washroom to change

Originally, it was just that the weight of guns/guns in a gang member's pocket/pockets pulled down on their pants. Like plumbers pants are pulled downward by they way they wear their tools, then it became a look, for some reason.

It was brought to prison by gangs from the street.

It wouldn't have been from not having belts in prison, partly because, they DO have belts in prison.

Here in New York they have belts.

I heard the sagging pants look did originate from prison. When guys in prison sagged their pants, it meant that they were

sexually "open for business." Several rappers popularized the look, some dumb teens thought it was cool and mimicked it,

and now we have young people who refuse to pull their pants up.

For my generation it was "cool" to have your pants below the waist but it is not because most people don't want to see your underwear

They wear the brief style underwear so that there testicles and penis are held securely in a pouch in between there legs. It is all a matter of personal preference.
