Its because people usually get their earlobes done when they're a baby so they're pretty old. They heal pretty thoroughly. You normally get other piercings when you're around 16 so your ear lobe piercings are already around 15 or 14 years old.

How long does it take for a tragus piercing to close?

It depends on how long you have the piercing/ how healed it is. If you have it for longer than a year and it is all healed, it will usually stay open for awhile. Your tragus is just like the cartilage on the outer rim of your ear.

How can you keep your lip piercing open?

When it comes down to it a piercing is a hole.. Your body treats this as a wound that needs to heal.. Everyone's body is different as to how long the piercing will need to stay in before you can take it out without it healing over. There is no guarantee that your piercing will stay open without jewellery in it, The only sure way to keep it open is to leave jewellery in or if you don't want it to be noticed as much put a clear piece of jewellery in it. (a retainer) using anything other than this may be likely to cause an infection.

What if youTook out jewelry to change Monroe piercing for the first time waited 24 hours and can not put it back in is it too late or can you just push it through?

Well that was a foolish thing to do when the piercing is not healed. The piercing every piercing is never considered healed until it's a year old, even at six weeks it's a new piercing and will close quickly if left out for longer then a few minutes. Don't force the jewellery through the piercing you will damage the piercing. Go see a local body piercer and have them put it back in with and insertion taper so the tissue will be eased open and not torn by force.

Monroe piercing bump?

May be folleculitus which is pretty common on piercings, it means something has gotten stuck inside the piercing, usually caused by makeup or touching piercing with dirty hands. To heal it use hot compresses as often as possible, tea tree oil can also be used but should only be used as a last resort as it can also kill new cells which will make it take longer to heal; leaving you more susceptable to an infection as it will be an open wound for longer.
