Well you see, when you write something with a pencil, you leave behind tiny particles of graphite. Of course we see this as pencil markings becasue the particles are so tiny. Now after long periods of time, the graphite particles begin to fall off the paper depending on how old the paper is. This is why we see out old papers with faded out pencil markings. Now I could be totally wrong but if someone is willing to edit the response, feel free to do so.
because they r made out of wood and wood wears out ...........................................i think?
25 pencils out of 20 erasers ratio can be written as : 5 : 4.

If you only have 184 pencils then only 184 kids will get both a pencil and an eraser, even if you have more erasers than that.
To find the smallest number of pencils and erasers that you can buy to have the same quantity of each, you need to determine the least common multiple (LCM) of the package sizes. The LCM of 12 (pencils) and 10 (erasers) is 60. Therefore, you would need to buy 5 packages of pencils (5 x 12 = 60 pencils) and 6 packages of erasers (6 x 10 = 60 erasers) to have an equal number of both, totaling 11 packages.
