So the species does not become extinct.

To ensure the continuity of endangered species
because they want to preserve the endangered species that are in the zoos
Wildlife reserves or sanctuaries, zoos.
Zoos have breeding programs for endangered animals so they are helping keep a species alive.
Of course. Zoos brag about conservation efforts and breeding programs to save endangered species, but it is all for profit. People want to see exotic, adorable baby animals. Notice zoos are never dedicated to breeding ugly endangered species. After cute baby animals grow up, they are traded, sold to circuses, or worse. Zoos do not care about splitting up families and emotionally damaging their animals. If zoos cared about wild animals, they would have sanctuaries in natural habitats to save wild animals from environmental degradation and human poachers. Zoos exist for human entertainment.
cause many hunters will kill them in wild
Captive Breeding
No the zoos are not helping the endanger species because they are only helping some endangered species
Some zoos have animals just for show and they breed them there. Other zoos just have endangered animals: animals that are injured and cannot survive in the wild, babies that have been abandoned or separated from their parents or endangered species. But some zoos have a mixture of both... :)
Zoos are keeping endangered animals in the zoo, to try and help the species by breeding them. If they can get them to reproduce and have healthy offspring that will be able to breed in the future, they are contributing to the species population in general, and the diversity of the gene pool for the species. The hope is that in the long run the species will not be endangered anymore. Also if the species is still endangered, or needs serious conservation work, we might have had time to learn new techniques, and technology to make other advances that can make a major difference in helping maintain the health of the species populations.
To save an endangered animal, you have to not destroy its habitat and not kill its food. Both things are important in saving an endangered species.
