Why does 1996 ranger door alarm and cab lights stay on only with warm air temps when its cold its normal. Is there a way to locate and remove the Dinger?

Sounds like there is a problem with the door ajar switches. There is one on each door. It looks like a push button. It is usually located on the hinge side of the door. Try spray some silicone spray and working it in and out.If that doesnt work then one will have to be replced. Try one door then the other to find the bad one. switch is inside door and is part of latch can be unplugged i did mine
