Anne Frank is an interesting girl I think. But when she says to laugh about everything, that to me is just her personality speaking. Anne is a girl who doesn't like to be mad or depressed, and when she was cooped up in the Secret Annex, not able to go outside or play with friends at school, laughing was sort of the last bit of happiness she could hang onto. I mean, she obvsiously doesn't mean to laugh about EVERYTHING. It wouldn't be nice to laugh at a funeral if that is considered in everything. So really, I think she says to laugh is because she doesn't want to be in a depressed environment and that is just the way she is, which is a fine personality to acquire. It is tough; one's initial reaction would be Sonic, but his exposure is and was limited, while Anne Frank only reaches more people. In the 1990s the answer would have been Sonic, but now you would have to say Anne Frank.
Because he starts treating her "like a baby" as some people would say. He basically tells her to be careful, and she freaks out, and tells him everything.
