CD players say "BUSY" when they load the Compact Disc because the CD player has to take a little time to read the CD so that it can play it for u. remember that the CD has a lot of info. on it and the CD player has to "read" all the information in order 2 play it

I think there was a recall at somepoint for a chip in the CD players. mine wouldn't load or play and it would get stuck on fm1 and wouldn't skip to fm2 or CD player. I bought mine from car max and they looked into it and said there was a recall. I have a 2003 Expedition with a 6 CD changer that had a CD stuck in it. We disconnected the battery cables and then reconnected them (have your key fob close by in case your alarm goes off). When we reconnected the battery cables the CD player spit out the stuck CD and then reinitialized itself for about a minute or two. Then I could load and eject all of the CDs inside, and the CD player worked again.
