Infinity Ward Ward is being helped on Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and it is to be released November 8 2011 Yes there will be. As mentioned above, Black ops was out in November 2010. It has been confirmed that in EARLY next year, some company called Sledgehammer games are releasing a call of duty title under the action adventure genre. Sledgehammer stopped it's work and is helping Infinity Ward with MW3 As for Modern Warfare 3 - Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was confirmed to be in pre-production stages on April 9th, 2010 by Activision. The release of MW3 is November 8 2011 and pre orders are being taken at most major game retailers
