There are several reasons 1. The Capulets and Montagues will be doomed to death if they break out in another fight 2. He doesn't want to screw up his party 3. Romeo is said to be well- behaved and he doesn't seem to be up to any sort of trouble.
Capulet was setting Paris up with Juliet. He invited Paris to the party so Juliet would have a chance to look him over, and Paris would have a chance to get to know Juliet. But that didn't really happen because Juliet found Romeo instead.
He is using it as an opportunity for Juliet to meet suitable bachelors.
because he thinks that his first love, Rosaliine, is going to be there
so that juliet could be whooed by prince parisbecuz he wanted to marry her
Capulet traditionally holds a 'masquerade' party, it's something he does every year. On this occasion he wanted to invite Paris in the hope that he would win Juliet's heart.
Benvolio tells Romeo to forget about Rosaline (Romeo's love before he met juliet) and to go to the party and find a new girl
Benvolio is hoping that what will happen is exactly what does happen. He's hoping some girl at the party will take Romeo's mind off Rosaline. Boy, did that work!
because he welcomed his guests
an illiterate servant is sent by Lord Capulet to invite those on the guest list. he comes across romeo and benvolio, whom he does not realize are of the house of montagues. he continues to tell them they are able to attend the party as long as they aren't montagues. but because rosaline, whom romeo thinks hes in love with, might be there, benvolio and romeo go anyways.
well in act 1 benvolio is telling romeo to confess whats wrong and he was sad because rosaline didnt want to be with him... Benvolio tells him to forget about her and go to a party which a capulet servent accidentally invited them(the enemy)
He appears to be a nice young man, and Capulet does not want to spoil the party for the other guests by causing a ruckus. Romeo certainly isn't causing one.
Benvolio is fed up because his best mate Romeo is lovesick and complaining all the time that he is in love with a girl who doesn't love him back. Benvolio needs a way of putting Romeo off Rosaline so things can go back to normal.. So he tells Romeo that the Capulet feast will be the perfect opportunity to compare Rosaline with the other beautiful women of Verona and says Romeo's beloved Rosaline will look like a crow amongst swans. Romeo agrees to go with him, but only because Rosaline herself will be there.
lord capulet refines tybalt from fighting romeo because he doesnt want the feast to be ruined and he dose not wish to hurt or injure a youngster for he is well known

Tybalt recognizes Romeo's voice at the Capulet's feast and is outraged that he has crashed the party. He informs Lord Capulet about Romeo's presence and insists that he should be removed from the party immediately. Lord Capulet, however, allows Romeo to stay because he does not want to cause a scene at the feast.
Before Romeo met Juliet, he loved a girl named Rosaline, but she didn't love him back. Benvolio tells Romeo to go to the party at the Capulet's to find other girls. Romeo agrees, however, it is because he thinks he will see Rosaline there

Benvolio stops approaching Romeo when he notices that Romeo is clearly upset and in distress, and he doesn't want to intrude or worsen the situation by pushing him to talk. Benvolio respects Romeo's privacy and gives him space to deal with his emotions on his own.

Lady Capulet does not want to kill Romeo. She is Juliet's mother and does not harbor any intent to harm Romeo in the story of Romeo and Juliet.

A capulet
Tybalt wants to fight Romeo... :)
Lord Capulet let romeo stay at the party because he did not want an uprising to make him look bad at his own party. Trust me I read Romeo and Juliet 3 and a half weeks ago.
