Why does God let the devil tempt humans even when the devil is in hell?

{And surely, We created you (your father Adam) and then gave you shape (the noble shape of a human being); then We told the angels, "Prostrate yourselves to Adam", and they prostrated themselves, except Iblis (Satan), he refused to be of those who prostrated themselves. (Allaah) said: "What prevented you (O Iblis) that you did not prostrate yourself, when I commanded you?" Iblis said: "I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay." (Allaah) said: "(O Iblis) get down from this (Paradise), it is not for you to be arrogant here. Well, God is all knowing and all powerful and created everything with perfect control and perfect foreknowledge.

Which can only mean that God knowingly and intentionally created evil and the devil, knowing full well the consequences and with all the power needed to have created a world without evil.

He chose not to, ergo, God WANTS the world to contain evil.

Since God knows everything, he has perfect knowledge and power over all evil.

And since God had the power to create the world in such a way as to make any given human being a sinless believer... God can not possibly sit in judgment of weaknesses he knowingly chose to create in us.... or can not do so and remain ethical.

So, If you believe that God would create you the way you are, knowing full well what you would do in life, only to judge you for it and cast you into eternal hell....

...Then you believe in a sadistic and amoral God.

There can be no Satan, because God already has perfect understadning and power over evil, and wants evil to exist, so why wouod he need to invent some flunky to handle something he is already perfect at himself?

It would be like George Bush HIRING someone to torture you, and then you believing George Bush was actually a good guy, because HE didn't waterboard you personally...

A creative God who knowingly creates Satan is responsible for all the actions of that Satan.

This is why belief in God is delusional... because the characteristics believer'sassign him are incompatible with morality and goodness.

You can believe that crap, or you can know that God did not create evil, but instead, when he created man, Satan, who was not just an animal, but used to be an angel, as said in another book of The Bible (was kicked out for thinking he was greater than God, i think this was in Isaiah), and he decieved Eve, and she sinned, causing Evil to be in the world (other than in Satan's heart i guess, but did he even sin yet? I think not....) but anyways, then, because it is like that, every person is born in sin, and I don't think Satan is in hell yet, but anyways, God isn't like, making us evil, but because of the curse of sin, we have to be made sinners, and he knows that, but he is there, and it tests your heart to believe in the real thing, in Jesus, and not to listen to the Devil. that is why he lets him tempt us, i think, because he's sort of giving Satan free will, and all. Jesus was being tempted by Satan himself, but never attempted to sin, nor sinned at all. I don't know if I answered, but i hope I deflected the other person's Attack against God, which is false and full of soup.

A biblical perspective:All of God's created beings, men and angels alike, were given FREE WILL. Satan was not "created evil;" out of pride, Satan chose to exercise his free will in defiance of God. This resulted NOT in his being consigned to hell (not yet); Satan and the angels who chose to follow him were cast down to EARTH.

Revelation 12:9 - So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

He leads humans astray because snatching God's word out of our hearts (Luke 8:12) and keeping us sinful, ignorant of God's offer of salvation though faith in Christ, is HIS ONLY REVENGE. (How he must delight in the hardened hearts of those who buy into his lies and loudly proclaim that belief in God is delusional!)

Revelation 12:12b - Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time."

God doesn't "let" Satan tempt humans. WE LET HIM DO IT OURSELVES.

James 1:13, 14 - Let no one say when he is tempted, "I am tempted by God"; for God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He Himself tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is drawn away by his own desires and enticed.

Part of the good news of the gospel of Christ is that no one HAS to be helpless in the face of Satan's attacks:

1 Corinthians 10:13 - No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it.

James 4:7 - Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.

It's vital to understand that these promises are made only to those who have believed and obeyed the gospel of Christ...

John 1:12 - But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

Galatians 3:22 - But the Scripture has confined all under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to those who believe.'
