God does not make Himself known because if He were to do so, how could we exercise any faith the He does exist? If He were to stand before us then there would no need to have faith.

We gain this faith by prayer and fasting, by reading the scriptures. The gift of the Holy Ghost is given to all men so that He might testify that God does exist. He will testify this truth to us by a still small voice, or by a burning within our breast.

However He presents this knowledge to us we will know for a surety that God does exist, herein lies the start of out faith, once we have this God does not require us to see Him. There will be time enough when the accounts are settled.

Answer:

If you look at the case of the Israelites as they came out of Egypt, they had miracles everyday in front of their eyes, yet they never got the message that God loved them and wanted to protect them.

Fast forward now to Jesus' day. He revealed himself as the Son of God, yet people did not believe inspite of all the miracles.

God does things differently now, instead of wholesale miracles, he asks us to have faith. Yes, there are still miracles but not as many. God works on a personal basis with people now, one on one.

People are so hardhearted that they would not accept God if he did show himself. It is a personal choice now to believe that God exists or not.

Answer:

Maybe it is because the "miracles" recorded in The Bible are mostly fictional. After all God is the same yesterday, today and forever according to the bible.

God never appeared to Moses face to face, fed the Jews Manna and there was not a loud voice in heaven when Jesus was being baptised telling everyone "this is my beloved son" etc. All fiction.

A biblical perspective:Romans 8:24 - For we were saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope; for why does one still hope for what he sees? [NKJV]

He does, Jesus is one of the three parts of God and will not come again until the Anti- Christ is present. Saints, his first appearance, among other things are what are supposed to spark your faith, et cetera.

How might having a religious experience prove that God exists?

People have so many definitions of God so it is hard to prove that God exists. A religious experience may make a believer of you but it may not "prove" God exists as your experience may not convince a non-believer.

Why don't white people believe in God?

A lot of white people believe in god......but the smarter ones know that all gods are simply imaginary!Actually if you are completely honest with yourself then you will admit this: You can no more prove that there IS NOT a God that exists than a believer can prove that THERE IS a God that exists. Personally I believe in God. And I am FAR from uneducated, also I am not white either, lol! Peace!Proving the non-existence of something is ridiculous! Try proving that leprechauns don't exit . . . or invisible pink unicorns! No, if you really think that god exists, then it's up to YOU to prove it. Even educated people can be delusional. What the guy above me explained is called "Burden of Proof." If you make a positive claim such as "x exists" it is up to you to prove it. That means that yes, the default position is that it does not exist, and until that is proven otherwise, it will remain so.Also, it must be noted that the christian god, and any other religious human construct CAN be examined, broken down into its constituents and be proven false through logic. This, however, is another matter entirely.

Why does God make people just believe in him through blind faith?

Because blind faith is all there is. As soon as people start trying to prove that God exists, they start realising that he does not.
