because the gravitational pull is on both sides and it shhots it out farther...either that or its just the way God made it
I assume you are wondering why Pluto doesn't have a larger orbit when it's farther out than Neptune. Pluto's orbit is very eccentric, more like a flattened oval, which affects the length of travel. The longest orbit is circular and any deviation will decrease the distance traveled. Up until 1998, or so, Neptune was the farthest planet out. Pluto moved farther out around then, but the eccentricity still makes it a shorter orbit.
