log in, most of the time the server is either full or down
It is not always down, sometimes it is working but when it is working it is full really quickly
Well of my knowledge, I would pick http://www.Pokemoncrator.com/ but, if you don't like it, just find any other Pokemon private servers, even though the other ones are very slow.

If your using a ROM i think you can connect to yourself just open 2 vbas and click options on both and click link and make sure wireless adapter is ticked then click settings and turn network on if its not on. then on one vba click server and click start, it should come up with a server ip. Go to the second vba and click client and then get rid of localhost and type in the server ip that was shown and it should connect to each other. if your using gameboy you have to have leafgreen and firered or somthin and 2 gameboys and just trade the starters over.
Not sure where it says that exactly, but sometimes the server has problems when so many people access it. Usually you can tell its offline at the log in page when it says: "Still receiving news."
The only one I know of is Pokemon Mystery Universe, aka PMU. Unfortunately, however, the server has been offline for about a month and there seems to be no word of when it will come back online. The upside is when it does, there will apparently be some sort of compensation to the players and...wait for it...no lag! :D
It means that a piece of software you have and run (the Lego Universe server, namely) needs to be updated. If you're connecting to some remote location over the Internet and this message is presented instead, it means that probably you're using a newer version of the program, and the person you're connecting to is using an older version. In that case either you have to use an older client, or the server owner must update the server program. Alternatively you could search for other servers that are compatible with your client version. It all really depends on what you prefer and what you need.
because it connects to the server....LOL
The server address is the "IP" and you type it in the connecting to muiti servers box, and you join a minecraft server.
A communications server works by connecting the server and the client through streaming. A good communications server should have a powerful programming model.

Generally, because the server is offline, or the cache isn't valid with the client you're running
