Why does President Kennedy's Aura develop?

He was young and handsome with his cute kids and beautiful wife. He was very telegenic and charismatic. He gave great and memorable speeches. He was probably the only president to be considered a sex symbol and had an affair with Marylin Monroe (among others). He dealt with the Cuban Missile Crisis, the closest the world ever came to nuclear war. He died in a very mysterious and tragic way which only added to his mystique and aura. Shortly after he died, his wife Jackie revealed that JFK loved the musical "Camelot" and his favorite lines, which were hauntingly similar to what the Kennedy Administration embodied, were:

Don't let it be forgot

That once there was a spot

For one brief, shining moment

That was known as Camelot.

Since then, Camelot has been associated with JFK, the Kennedys, and the Kennedy Administration.
