You would need more force to push a wheelbarrow across a dirt road than a wood floor because of the friction created between the dirt road and the wheelbarrow wheels.
It is a second class lever. One example is the wheelbarrow - the wheel is the fulcrum, the input force is at the handles where you lift and push, and the output force is what's carried in the wheelbarrow.
You need more force to push it. The loaded one has more mass than the empty one.
The entire mass weight is consolidated to fall upon the wheel and with force in both lifting and pushing, thus mobility occurs....Sound right? A human lifts the handles and pushes it, when you lift the handles, your force can lift greater force(the weight loaded barrow). The wheel is a fulcurm of the wheelbarrow lever thus it can beer more load in less effort. Additionally, motorized wheelbarrow has come in market. So you need not to push/pull a wheelbarrow manually. wheelbarrow has 2/3/4 tires with steel/plastic tub. Pulling would probably be easier, because the weight is going to try to bury the wheel in the sand. By dragging the wheelbarrow, it may not "nose down" into the sand. But keeping the handles as low as possible might accomplish the same thing.
its called stupid
You fill the wheelbarrow with whatever you want to transport (dirt, bricks, marbles, books) and then lift the two handles in the rear. Most of the weight should be on the wheel, which on solid level ground should roll smoothly (do not overload those with pneumatic tires). To steer, push harder on one handle than the other, and tilt a little toward the direction of the turn.
