The shift cable is loose or mis adjusted.
Drierside under car. Up on left front of transmission case. Transmission pressure switch. If it doesnt see transmission fluid pressure the car will not start.
First unplug the wire harness from the switch. Using the correct size socket (1" if I remember correctly) remove the switch counterclockwise from the transmission. Install the new one in reverse order.

With the transmission warmed up (go for a short drive), park on a level surface, and with the transmission in park or neutral and engine running, pull the dipstick out and check the fluid level against the markings on the dipstick.
