If it does not start and just makes a clicking sound, this is an indication of: a low battery, poor battery connections, or a defective starter solenoid ( next to the battery hooked up by the short positive battery cable). Check and clean your battery cables first , then look to the solenoid if you know the battery is fully charged. I hope this helps you. Mark

The Fuel Regulator is located on the fuel rail, near the back of the motor.

According to my manual that goes up to 1996, yes the 3.0 does have a crankshaft position sensor.

The clicking may be the belt tensioner clicking. I know that mine is causeing a clicking noise. If you get a friend to help you, you will be able to see it happen if that is the case.

May be in the left front fender.

You have a bad battery connection or a bad starter solenoid. Check and clean the battery connections, if no luck , replace the starter solenoid which is the liitle box that the short battery cable runs to. I hope this helps you. Mark

horn not working on 2003 ford explorer sport trac, just a clicking sound

could be a cracked radiator, bad radiator cap, a busted radiator or heater hose, bad heater core, or a busted fill box!

Crawl under the vehicle and look and count them.

I have a 2004 Ford Explorer and the heat does not work, but when i try to turn the control valve to heat it makes a clicking noise. How do i fix it?

Do you need the engine to be running when adding transmission fluid to a 1995 ford aerostar

The "clicking sound" is probably a circuit breaker. If so, you have a short, or overload, in the wiring somewhere.

the switch is located behind the kick panel on the passenger side

I will take a stab at the answer....... Do you live in a hot climate? If so, when the engine is hot and possibly a new exhaust was installed, the clicking would be the exhaust cooling off. Sound good ?

I just had my 1994 Aerostar tuned up. New rotar, cap, wires and plugs. Cost for 3 hours of labor plus parts. Very hard job to do. Cost about $325.00

Not much info to go on but it could be the exhaust system heating up or cooling down.

It is inside the transmission oil pan, same as almost all automatic transmissions

I installed the rack an pinion on my 1994 areostar and took me about 3 hours to remove the old one and install the new one! and sense i did it my self i have no idea what someone would charge to do it!
