If you are low on oil the ECM will shut the engine down so it will not blow. check your oil if it's low you could have a oil leak add oil and have it checked. If you have plenty oil the sensor needs to be replace. Also if you haven't changed the oil in a long time it will thin out an set the sensor off also

The overhead light in the Neon could be stick on for several reasons. Check the door switches and light switch for failure. If the light uses an off timer, check the light relay to see if its stuck.
A Dodge Neon does not have a mass airflow sensor.
