Possible reasons are;
Poor driving skills
Fuel starvation
Air starvation
Ignition timing

Your 1983 Chevy S10 Blazer might stall when the accelerator pedal is depressed because of a clogged or dirty fuel filter. Gas that is mixed with water or condensation from the tank can also cause this issue.
the knock sensor is located on the lower passenger side of the block,right in front and slightly above the starter!

if it has the same motor it will but not sure if it will from 4 banger to v6 or a v6 4300
Passenger side of engine, front to rear, 1, 3, 5. Drivers side, front to rear, 2, 4, 6.
