Best Answer

That pruning is done improperly; that it is not the bloom time; or that heat, light, and moisture needs are not being metare reasons why Jacaranda trees are not blooming.

Specifically, the Jacaranda accepts pruning in light and periodic doses, immediately after the bloom fades. It blooms in spring and fall. It cannot survive in areas where temperatures regularly fall below 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius). It does not handle any light situation other than full sun. It needs to be planted in well-drained soils.
