When you blow air into a balloon, the air pressure inside builds, thus causing the latex skin to expaand. Eventually, the latex won't be able to expand anymore, so it catastrophically fails. (AKA, it pops.)

Yes, It is a physical change because it's only losing air. when you put air in the balloon it's still a balloon, and when it loses air it's still a balloon. So it's a physical change since it didn't change in substance.
What they do is blast cold air into the "hot" air and it makes the air molecules slow down... Thus it makes the air balloon decrease back to earth.
