Rabbits of both sexes mount each other as a show of dominance. Mounting isn't always sexual. Dominance can turn into aggression, especially if one or both males aren't neutered, so you might want to separate the rabbits as a precaution. Definitely separate them if they're fighting: see the related question below for details and links.
Yes, they can. As odd as the notion is to us, rabbits will mate with any other rabbit they can find.
normally if a buck( male rabbit) goes into a does (female rabbit) hole it is most likely trying to mate with it.
Then she isn't pregnant or if she is just put the male away from her
a "male" rabbit is called a buck. don't know what a "mate" rabbit is!
they can do both they ait shy they will mate in front off you if they are attracted to your rabbit and they might mate when ur walkig your rabbit.. when do you walk your rabbits and how many times a day and for how long
Get up and walk away. The rabbit will realize you are not interested and hopefully stop. Or get him/her a playmate.
Yes they can.But you must keep them seperated. And leave the male rabbit with eachfemale for at least a week.
Because they are homosexual
Rabbits can not mate with guinea pigs. If the rabbit tries to mate with a guinea pig, it means that:They shouldn't live together. Rabbits and guinea pigs shouldn't share a cage because rabbits get easily scared and can accidentally hurt the piggies.Your rabbit could be trying to show dominance but again, give each one its own cage. A rabbit trying to be dominant could hurt the guinea pig.You should separate them when the rabbit mounts the guinea pig. Otherwise, if they get along, they can be together when you're there to supervise, but never when they're alone.
While it is an instinct to mate, bunnies are not required to mate to live. For example, a single bunny that is someone's pet will most likely never mate but it is not negatively affected by this.
Ummm because he'll try to mate with her and, how would YOU like if a random guy tried to mate with you?? She is not in estrus and does not want to mate.
Have one of then de-sexed, neutered for males and spayed for feemales. Or keep them apart.
