engine click engines do the clicking noise because it has good compression its just youre valves returning to there original positions and the oil falling back in the oil pan.
Probably the exhaust system cooling down.
It has not been stopped. They are made and sold everyday. BTW, it is a motor not an engine.

When you press the accelerator and brake together in a motor car, the engine will rev, but the brake will stop it from moving. Doing this repeatedly can cause the vehicle damage.
The engine is not meant to run at high rpm's at a stop for a long amount of time. The motor cant circulate antifreeze and there is no air to cool the motor at a stop. Any car will do that. What a stupid answer! I didn't say I was stopped!
