Cats and dogs have a wider range of hearing than humans have, especially in the upper ranges. Many of cat's vocalizations are in the higher range. These often indicate distress or danger. So your pet may think you are in trouble and comes to check. As well, your tone and range when singing may simply sound like another cat communicating. Since you are in the cat's family, the cat wants to communicate back to you.
be cause he think u r in trouble or hearting be cause of the pitchies hes is hearing
Dogs are pack animals, and canine packs communicate and bond through howling. Your dog considers you a part of his pack, and when you sing, he thinks you are howling, so he wants to join in.
Get a fire truck to come by and it will sing along with the sirens. If you play a Harmonica I guarantee your dog will howl like a wolf. Its unbelievably funny!
All breeds howl. Some breeds are more likely to howl like beagles or huskies.
Let it pass. Howl!!!
will howl am/is/are going to howl
There are lots of different reasons. Some because they are hungry or have infections. And others because they think they hear something or maybe they are lonely or something. We have a poodle and when we make howling noises at her she does it back and if we interrupt her while she is howling, She does it even louder and she does it longer. And we also have a beagle that we go off of the road a couple of days ago and he howls an awful lot and I think the reason he howls is because it is his nature to howl. All he does is howl and sleep so maybe it's because he was just born to howl.
no, of course not. they just howl :)

Mine yelps but she doesn't howl.
It depends on what dog...
Depends what type of dog it is. The Basenji is the only dog that can not bark it can howl but not growl or bark. They like to call it the barkless dog, but if you watch it howl most people will get comfused and call it a bark.

they sniff trouble
dogs howl outside because of alarms going off or cop alarms go off it hurts there ears so then they will start to howl or they will howl with nuther dogs
No. Foxes make a range of sounds like screams, squeals and screeching.
The dog might not like the sound of the instrument witch isn't rare. Dogs and pups have really sensitive hearing. The trumpet to a human isn't as loud as what a dog hears. To a dog its almost like a yell to the ear. If this isn't the case, your dog might just be trying to sing along! :)
