The magnetic poles of the magnetic domains are physically jarred and realign. They realign randomly. When a material appears to be strongly magnetized it is because these domains are aligned.

Why should you never drop a magnet on the floor?

It will lose its magnetic field. The vibrations made from the drop charge the electrons and make them move out of the line that they were in, this causes the magnet to lose its magnetism.

How does temperature effect magnets?

I did a science fair experiment on this last year. It is found that magnets that have higher temperature were weaker. to support this claim you should research about the "curie point" which basically says that this is a temperature ( really hot) where the magnet will lose its magnetic properties.

Why droping a magnet is bad?

If you drop a magnet, you can potentially make it lose some of its magnetism. Striking it with a hammer, exposing it to electric charges, and extreme temperature changes (rapid temperature change from freezing to boiling for example) can affect its magnetism.

Does putting a magnet in the water for 60 minutes make the magnet lose its magnetism?

No it wont but if the water is hot then it will lose its magnetism

How to cause a magnet to lost its magnetic power?

A magnet can lose its magnetism if exposed to high temperatures. If heated above the point called the Curie temperature, a magnet will lose its magnetism.

Do magnets lose their power?

No.If you break the magnet, it is still a useful magnet.

Can a magnet lose its magnetism by heating?

Yes

What temperature does it have to be for a magnet to lose its magnetism?

lolololol

What happens lose you lose strength all of a sudden?

When you lose your strength all of a sudden, you collapse and suffer some dizziness.

What kind of magnet is strong and will not lose its magnetism unless damaged?

Something called a permanent magnet

How can a magnet can lose it strength?

Several factors can weaken the magnetism in a magnet such as being stored close to heat, strong electrical currents, other magnets, or radiation. Over time magnet materials lose a very small amount of magnetism.

If you only do cardio and dont strength train will you lose weight?

If you want to lose weight just eat food that is low in carbohydrates. All food has the info on its label. Keep your carbs as low as possible and the weight will drop fast.
