i am not as sure to what a magnetic means but i do know a microwave has a magnetron and the way it heats food is by putting out microwaves that make the water molecules vibrate which warms the item because more moving molecules in an object means heat which makes the food hot

Is a microwave door magnetic?

Yes, microwave doors typically have a metal grille with a high iron content that acts as a shield and can attract small magnetic objects. This design helps contain the microwave radiation while allowing you to see your food inside the microwave.

Why do we installed a magnetic strips in a fridge or a microwave?

Magnetic strips in a fridge or microwave are used to create a seal when the door is closed, preventing cold air from escaping (fridge) or microwaves from leaking out (microwave). This helps in maintaining the desired temperature in the fridge and ensuring safe operation of the microwave.

Is it safe to use the microwave oven while wearing magnetic bracelets?

Yes, it is safe to use the microwave oven while wearing magnetic bracelets. The magnetic field from the bracelet is not strong enough to interfere with the microwave's operation or pose a risk to the user.

How microwave waves travel per second?

Microwave is an electro-magnetic wave and travel at speed of light or 3x108 m/s.

What is the possible reason for degradation of wireless communication when microwave is in used?

Wireless communication is usually a form of radio communication. Radio communication uses a part of the electro-magnetic spectrum of radiation. Microwave ovens also use electro-magnetic radiation. If you have a radio that's operating close to the microwave range, or maybe an microwave oven that has a wide spectrum, then the oven can interfere with the radio.

What type of microwave tube amplifier used an axial magnetic field and radial magnetic field?

That would be a TWT amplifier (traveling wave tube).

Can you use electro magnetic waves in water?

Sure, it just sucks when you drop the microwave in the bathtub.....

What are the properties of a material that make it an effective microwave absorbent?

Materials that are effective microwave absorbents typically have properties such as high electrical conductivity, magnetic permeability, and a structure that allows for efficient absorption of microwave energy. These properties enable the material to absorb and convert microwave energy into heat effectively.

Principle of operation of magnetron?

A magnetron operates by using a magnetic field to control the movement of electrons emitted from a heated cathode. When these electrons are influenced by the magnetic field, they spiral outward and interact with a series of resonant cavities, generating microwave radiation through the oscillation of the electrons. This microwave energy is then extracted and directed for various applications, such as in microwave ovens or radar systems. The design allows for efficient conversion of electrical energy into microwave energy.

Are microwave wave longitudinal or transverse?

Microwaves are part of the electromagnetic spectrum and are transverse waves in that the displacement is perpendicular to the direction of travel.

How magnetron works?

A magnetron is a type of vacuum tube that generates microwave radiation by utilizing the interaction between electric and magnetic fields. It consists of a cathode that emits electrons, which are then influenced by a strong magnetic field, causing them to spiral and produce microwave oscillations. These oscillations are amplified and emitted as microwaves through a resonant cavity structure. The resulting microwaves can be used in various applications, such as radar and microwave ovens.

What is a device for generating or amplifying microwaves?

A magnetron is a device commonly used for generating microwaves in microwave ovens. It works by utilizing the interaction of electrons with a magnetic field to produce electromagnetic waves at microwave frequencies.
