Tigger/sear needs cleaning/ repair. See a gunsmith if a thorough cleaning does not correct problem.

Currently (November 2009) they run about 750.00 New and about 675.00 Used.
Do I need to pull the oil pan to take off the timing cover on FE 390.
You will need to remove the trigger assembly. Once you remove this there is a hollow pin that goes through the hammer as well as the shell feed. REmove this carefully as there is a spring located on the left side that works for the shell feed. Once this is out, the trigger will pull straight out. The hammer braces fit on little pins on both sides of the hammer. pull out the old ones replace both with new ones and carefully put the pin back in. This is a 5 minute job, but this is also a good time to fully clean the trigger assembly. I usually spray it down with brake cleaner, blow it dry and then spray on CLP. This becomes a 15-20 minute job if you do a good job
