Why do we eat potatoes? Or other food? For its nutritional value - the chemical energy we get out of the potato.

As to "why" it has this energy - I believe the plant uses it as an energy storage. A potato is part of a plant's root system.

the potato that produces the most energy is the red potato. they are small yet nutrishes

A potato has chemical energy (food energy) stored within it. If you eat it, you will eventually use this energy.

yes, the potato would be the hgh energy electron

Yes, a potato is where the potato plant has stored it energy to produce a new potato plant in the next growing season. A potato is therefore an energy store and when you eat a potato this energy enters your body and you use it to heat your blood and to give you the power to move around.

Just as any other food, a potato stores food energy, which is a type of chemical energy.

A potato is the root of a plant. Plants use energy to make their own food. Any excess energy is stored in the roots.

When a potato chip, or any other object, falls, it has Potential Energy (energy of position) which is converted during the fall to Kinetic Energy (energy of motion).

The potato tuber serves as a store of energy for the potato plant. This helps the potato plant survive through winter.

no it lost all of its energy and acidic content (unless you secretly put a battery in the potato

how are potato clocks use and how do they work???oh and how do they use the energyAn electrochemical battery stores chemical energy that changes into electrical energy that runs electronic equipment. There is a chemical reaction within the potato battery that causes the electrons to move. The electromotive force within each potato is the ability it carries to move electric current. In an electrochemical cell, such as the potato battery, the copper wire makes the electrons move in the potato, causing energy to move into the clock.

you tell me the answer

depends if your talking about positive and negative energy the answer would be: yes it does it has positive energy in it

Potato clock was invented because the potato is found to be a good source of energy for the mechanical device specially- clock.

they create and store energy to help the potato grow and function. It uses starch.

does the amount of potato you put in a flat affect how many potato plants it grows?

In the short run, a lemon. For the carbs, and in the long run, a potato.

It can better sweet a sweet potato because it already has a lot of energy used inside it

it poops out its food then starts to grow

It's completely misleading to say that a potato, or any other source of food, has a certain number of watts "in it'. The potato may contain a certain amount of chemical ENERGY; energy is expressed in JOULES, not in WATTS. The watt is a unit of power (energy / time - in this case, joules/second).

The acid and salt (which is in the juice of a potato) chemical energy that turns intoelectricity.
