Both the Airsoft gun and the real gun go straight through the paper. Its just the Airsoft version is going at about a 1/4 of the real speed of a gun (around 1200 fps) so it just barely makes it throught the paper, not tearing throught it and taking all the paper it hits with it.

Yes, distance affects how you should shoot at a target. Depending on your type of weapon (Airsoft gun, handgun, rifle, bow or whichever), the distance to the target and prevailing conditions, you may have to compensate for windage (By aiming to the left or right of the target), ballistic arc (By aiming higher) or even the coriolis effect if you are firing at a very distant target with a high-powered rifle.
You can do target practice, or you can have an airsoft war with your friends! I have been in an airsoft war and it is very fun!
It depends on which target. There are hundreds of different types of targets available.
Usually means a handgun used for infomal target shooting (plinking)
Paintball gun. You can see where you hit your target. I disagree, if you are looking for a more realistic looking weopon then use an airsoft gun
It depends on where you are. In the U.S. 11 year old children cannot own a handgun, but it is legal under federal and most states' laws to possess the handgun for legal purposes such as hunting and target shooting.
Airsoft lasers give an advantage in tight combat situations. They enhance sight/vision of the target, improve aim, especially when light/visibility is an issue.
target, walmart, and every where else. oh yeah and cabellas I think from Airsplat.com
That depends on what kind of shooting you plan to do. Are you planning to do skirmish game or target shoot?
You can get them at sports stores, such as big 5, sports authority, target just to name a few but you can get them tons of places
It depends on the handgun. Some are not good for much beyond arm's length. Of the pistols I have fired, the one with the longest range was a Smith & Wesson .38 revolver. Can't remember the model, but it was accurate to at least 200 yards, very good for a handgun. I have seen target pistols with adjustable sights which can certainly do better, but some of these are practical for nothing except target shooting. For an automatic handgun, 60 to 100 yards is probably the maximum practical range in the hands of someone who is skilled with it.
