It does make a noise, however the sound is more of a thump the noise could be cushioned by the layers of plants underneath, also reducing the impact. Although I must add that the intensity of the sound depends on the size and height of the tree.

no it does not make a noise, a noise is an unwanted sound, if it can not be heard then it is not unwanted, however it does make a sound. sound is a form of energy thus hen the tree's gravitational potential energy it converted into kinetic energy during the falling motion, as it hits the ground its energy will be partially transferred into the earth and partially into the particles in the air thus creating sound waves
Frozen ground and the ground expands and shifts which causes movement
sadly, the brown note doesnt exist. they tried it on myth busters.
The noise made by the heel of a shoe typically includes a clicking or tapping sound when walking. This noise is produced by the impact of the heel striking the ground.
speaking from experience from ww2 Southampton bombing raids; bombs traveling at or above the velocity of sound; make a screaming, or whistling sound. The better you hear them; the more certainty it is not falling on you. The one that hits you you will not hear; for it gets there before its sound. ----
Hooves typically make a distinctive clopping or thudding noise when they strike the ground, depending on the surface. On harder surfaces like pavement, the sound can be sharper and more resonant, while on softer ground, it may sound more muted. Additionally, the noise can vary based on the animal's size and gait.
