If you are referring to St. Luke 11:28: "But he said, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and keep it!" then our Blessed Lord is NOT admonishing His contemporaries, He is pointing out that all of those who hear the word of God and keep it are blessed. To anyone who knows anything about Scripture, they know that nobody kept the word of God better than Our Blessed Lady so Our Blessed Lord is praising all who keep His Word including His Mother.
