Alcohol causes you to become disoriented. Marijuana makes you sleepy. If you drive while on alcohol you cant control the car or your speed. Marijuana can make you drive slower.
Marijuana is always better than alcohol and cigarette smoking.
absolutely not. as you can see in the link above, alcohol requires more dependence than marijuana. this means that if someone gets drunk off of alcohol, the next time they wish to get drunk they will have to consume more alcohol than the previous time. Also, alcohol is more addictive than marijuana. saying your addicted to marijuana is like saying your addicted to facebook (or something else that you really enjoy doing). as for alcohol, your body depends on alcohol. For marijuana, the addiction is all in your head. as far as overdosing, the theoretical amount of pot you have to consume is over a thousand hits (of course this cant be proven because no one has ever bothered to try it). with alcohol, it is very easy to suffer from alcohol poisoning if one gets drunk enough and is an alcoholic. for intoxication, alcohol leads to direct violence toward others, where marijuana simply makes people relaxed and more tolerant of their surroundings. alcohol can directly lead to serious physical injuries to ones body where marijuana is seldom seen as a direct cause.
yes
I would say that marijuana is the least deadly drug. Even alcohol is far more damaging to the human body than marijuana.
Alcohol by far. The withdrawal symptoms from alcohol can kill you alone and kills many many people each year while marijuana has never killed anyone in it's 5000 years of use. It's hundreds of times less toxic than caffeine, while you can get alcohol poisoning easily in one sitting an die, you would have to smoke or 15,000 lbs of marijuana in 15 minutes to overdose. Marijuana isn't physically addicting and doesn't cause a dependence comparable to other drugs. It's slightly less addicting than coffee. Alcohol is extremely addictive and causes sever dependence. I suggest going to marijuana.com for more in depth answers to these types of questions involving marijuana. It's a simple forum and the ads go away if you register.
They are both harmful. So clearly, the answer is : NO.
Kill more brain cells than what? Alcohol causes a slow degeneration of brain cells that results in eventual cell death with chronic use. Short-term use, in moderate quantities, kills none at all. (High levels of alcohol can result in alcohol poisoning, which can easily kill every cell in your body.) Gin has no greater effect than any other alcoholic beverage, except that it will give you a worse hangover than most. If you are asking about gin v. marijuana, we'd have to say marijuana, since smoking it introduces many more chemicals into the body, including carbon monoxide, but we wouldn't expect brain cell death to be an issue there, either. Certainly not with moderate use.
Neither marijuana nor alcohol kills brain cells. Unless you deprive yourself of oxygen. That's when you start to lose brain cells. You would hae to smoke 15-- joints in 20 minutes in order to kill brain cells. Here's a very intersting video. Got me to start smoking weed:P http://wideeyecinema.com/?p=866
First of all, you're nuts if you think marijuana is more harmful than meth. Using meth for so long eventually WILL kill you, while never in history has a death been linked directly to marijuana, just to say the least.
Marijuana smoke will not kill your dog. The active ingredient, THC, is not fatal unless it is in extremely high quantities, much more than second or even first hand marijuana smoke (and I suspect your dog doesn't smoke pot) In fact, it is virtually impossible to fatally overdose on THC, which is why there are little to no marijuana overdose deaths every year, and why many feel that marijuana is safer than alcohol.
Of course..xanax is a drug widely abused buy addicts and can turn ppl with anxiety into drug addicts. Marijuana is much much less harmful than cigarettes and alcohol
ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!?! ALCOHOL!! Hardly any people die from weed related accidents!
