every thing needs water to live with out it we would die
As with most domesticated animals, cattle should have access to clean, fresh water at all times (24/7). Cattle need to drink multiple gallons of water a day to maintain proper hydration and stay healthy.
because they need to move around to find food, water and grazing land for their cattle. xxx ♥ ♥ ♥
Dairy cattle.
Because they could go longer distances and because bufallo were gettin scarced, and they didnt need much water either when they traveled these distance, the best cattle was the longhorn cattle because this cattle oculd stand the "texas fever" which was a deadly disease to cattle back then.
It doesn't. Breeding cattle has nothing to do with concerns of contamination of water. It's what comes out after the cattle eat that matters.
Well, there's the cattle waterer (or automatic cattle waterer), and then there's the stock tank, which is a container that holds water for livestock like horses and cattle.
No.
Cows
Unfortunately there are different requirements for cattle depending on their age and what they are being used for. Just for basics on raising cattle always remember the five freedoms:Freedom from fearFreedom from discomfortFreedom to display natural habitsFreedom from malnutritionFreedom from diseaseAll cattle need to be in a clean, safe environment with a fresh source of water 24/7. They will need a clean shelter from the elements and feed free from moulds. For further information about daily nutrition and water intake please see the attached related links.
This couldn't be farther from the truth. Whoever told you that Longhorn cattle don't need water is a liar, uneducated about the breed or mistaken. Just because Texas Longhorns are known to and bred to live in the desert does NOT mean that they don't need water. They're not like camels where they can survive for weeks without water: they NEED water just like any other bovine, and cannot survive for more than a week without it. However, it is probably the fact that Longhorns are able to eat cacti is where you get the phrase that "longhorn cattle don't need water." The cacti they eat is full of water, and is enough to keep them satisfied without having to find water sources for many days, if not weeks. But put a Longhorn herd in an area where there are no cacti, just grass, and never let them have access to water (not even from a stream, a dugout or even a low wet area), you will have an animal abuse/cruelty case on your hands because of the fact you neglected to give them water that they are in need of.
The larger the herd of cattle, the larger the facilities need to be to accommodate for all those cattle.
It is not "copper cattle" is is "copper kettle" - a "kettle" is a special pot used to boil water.
