When we speak of God, w need to say first that God lacks nothing and has no "needs". We use the word need as a way of explaining in human terms what God is or does, but we also recognize that in does not apply to God's actual essence.

that said, God manifests God's nature as the Holy Spirit for our benefit, so that we know more fully (as much as humans can) who God is. In the ancient language, God is Father, Son and Holy Spirit at all times and always. God does not appear first as one and then the other.

No, in Christian theology, the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and the filling of the Holy Spirit are not considered to be the same experience. Why did the disciples need the power of the holy spirit?

All disciples of Jesus Christ are indwelt by the Holy Spirit. The first disciples on the Day of Pentecost received the Holy Spirit at that time. The Holy Spirit has a manifold ministry pertaining to Christians. Comforter, teacher, empowerer, convictor, witness, helper etc. etc. The Holy Spirit is the same to Christians today as Jesus was to the disciples when He was on earth except the Holy Spirit is not visible and for most Christians a difficult Holy Person to understand because of the "conversation" between The Spirit and our spirit. There are many things the disciples of Christ could not do without the Holy Spirit.

What is the wind of the Holy Spirit in the Bible?

AnswerThe New Testament was written for an audience that needed some sort of proof, even if that proof need only be unsophisticated by today's standards. So, the Holy Spirit never worked silently and invisibly, as presumably he could have, but descended as a dove (the baptism of Jesus) or as a wind or as tongues of flame (pentecost). It is the necessary evidence that the Holy Spirit was really there in person.

Why is the holy spirit important in pentecostal worship?

A:The New Testament is replete with references to the Holy Spirit (or Holy Ghost), for example, 1 Thessalonians 4:8 : "He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit."To disbelieve in the Holy Spirit would therefore mean seeing the New Testament as theologically unreliable, which is a difficult position for a Christian to take. On the other hand, belief in the Holy Trinity is somewhat less fundamental to Christian faith.

Why do you need the Holy Spirit as your counselor?

I suppose that's indirect. The Holy Spirit is what enters you upon salvation. It acts as your conscience (there is a reference for that, I dont particularly know it though.) and your guilt and what not. So indirectly, your conscience leads your actions and what you do that you deem right or wrong. So the Holy Spirit is your counselor to every single action you do already anyways.

What does the Bible means by walking in the Spirit?

You are referring to Galatians 5:16, which says, "But I say, Keep walking by spirit and you will carry out no fleshly desire at all." Walking by spirit involves accepting the action of the holy spirit upon you, allowing the holy spirit to influence you. You might say that it means to be governed by the holy spirit in your daily activities. Galatians chapter 5 brings out the contrast between being under the influence of the holy spirit and that of the flesh.-Galatians 5:17, 18. If you are under the influence of the holy spirit, you seek to refrain from the works of the flesh. Those include such things as "fornication, uncleanness, loose conduct, idolatry, practice of spiritism, enmities, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, contentions, divisions, sects, envies, drunken bouts, revelries." (Galatians 5:19-21) In a sense, you "put the practices of the body to death by the spirit." (Romans 8:5, 13) It will help to set your mind on the things of the spirit and cooperate with its leadings, rather than let yourself be controlled by fleshly desires. As holy spirit operates upon you, you manifest godly qualities, "the fruitage of the spirit." (Galatians 5:22, 23) You realize, though, that this calls for effort on your part. To illustrate: A farmer cultivates the land. Of course, sunshine and water are necessary; without such he cannot expect any harvest. We might compare holy spirit to sunshine. Holy spirit is needed for us to manifest the fruitage of the spirit. Yet, what would be produced without the farmer's hard work? (Prov. 10:4) Yes, how you cultivate the soil of your heart makes a difference in the quality and quantity of the fruitage of the holy spirit in you. So ask yourself, 'Am I permitting holy spirit to produce its fruitage by working along with it?' To obtain a good harvest, farmers also need to water their crops. In order to cultivate the fruitage of the spirit, you need the waters of truth found in the Bible and available through the Christian congregation today. (Isaiah 55:1) You have likely pointed out to many people that the Holy Scriptures are a product of holy spirit. (2 Timothy 3:16) Also, the faithful and discreet slave class provides much-needed understanding of the pure waters of Bible truth. (Matthew 24:45-47) The implication is clear. In order to come under the influence of the holy spirit, we must read and meditate on God's Word. If you are doing that, you are imitating the fine examples of the prophets who made "a diligent inquiry and a careful search" of information that was provided. It is noteworthy that even the angels have shown deep interest in spiritual truths regarding the promised Seed and the anointed Christian congregation.-Read 1 Peter 1:10-12.

How the holy spirit enters the human body and how to pray for the holy spirit?

The Trinity consists of the Father(God), the Son(Jesus Christ), & the Holy Spirit. All three make up one Godhead. If you are saved, Jesus Christ lives in your heart, God answers your prayers and the Holy Spirit convicts you much like your conscience, but with much more power. When you, a child of God, submit to God and ask for His power to guide you and help you, realizing you can't help yourself on your own, He sends the Holy Spirit into your soul to help and comfort you in your time of need; the more Spirit-filled you are, the more power you have to overcome weakness, temptation and struggles, and if you are already living in unconfessed sin, God will convict you with the Holy Spirit.

How can the spirit help you to pray?

The Holy Spirit can help us in many different ways. All we need to do is ask, and we will receive what we need. The LORD knows what is in your heart and mind. You don't even need to say it out loud, because He knows what you're going to say. However, praying out loud helps you and other people if they are around you. Ask the Holy Spirit to guide your thoughts and your speech so that you honor God and express your desires.
