Making a lightsaber from the Star Wars movies would be the hardest accomplishment in all of history. The main three parts of the lightsaber are: the hilt, the crystal, and the plasma chamber. First off, the plasma chamber would have to be heated up enough to turn the crystal into "heated light," without destroying the crystal and melting the hilt. Second, the plasma would have to extend to only a certain length, because in theory, if it were just light, it would extend for ever. Lastly, the theory of possibly creating a lightsaber from Star Wars is disproven by the fact that plasma is considered a gas, not a liquid as depicted in Star Wars.
