Check with other insurance companies to see if the rates would be any different. It might be related to the primary driver being under a certain age, it might be a matter of their risk tables indicating that a "sports" car is far more dangerous than a sedan, and after all, the SC stands for "sports coup". You and I know that a Saturn SC isn't that much more peppy than an Ion, but don't try to talk to insurance companies. Just get prices from other places.
