If the rear wiper on a 2001 Isuzu Rodeo will not turn off it could mean that the rear wiper switch is broken. The cost to replace the switch averages around $200 if done by a professional mechanic.
At Walmart! :-)
The Rodeo is a rear wheel drive vevicle
A relay under the dash that controls the wiper has probably died. This is a common failure for Isuzu trucks. You can find bits of advice on the web on repairing the relay board, but unless you are a serious do it your selfer, you will have to go to your dealer to get this fixed.
On my 1999 rodeo, when I hit the switch for the rear wiper, a clicking sound comes from the dash on the far right side under the right-most vent and next to the speaker in the door panel. That clicking noise is presumably the relay switching on and off, but God help you if you want to access it.
The fluid not spraying could be a clogged line or disconnected line or bad windshield washer motor. The rear wiper not working could be a bad wiper motor in the rear or unhooked linkage or fuse or relay. Check the fuses etc first.
My 98 rodeo has disk brakes in the rear not drums, are there drums on some models.
Right where the rear glass window latches to the tail gate, there are two screws to remove. The rest of the cover is held to the tail gate with expanding plastic anchors, just pry the cover away until they pop out, one a time. The wiper motor can be checked by testing for continuity through the windings. More than likely your problem is not the motor but rather the relays that control the wipers.
I don't think that will work unless you change over to rear disc brakes, the hub should not match.
For the ABS it is on the left side of the rear axle.
its on the crossmember on the right rear...near the canister.
80w90...with a diff additive for the rear
Its in the headliner above the rear door. The cover on it pops right off.
